How we work
MWR has a national Co-ordinating Group, which has overall responsibility for organising the march and is based in London. Sub groups work on different aspects of MWR such as fundraising, publicity and networking. As well as the national Co-ordinating Group, there are local MWR groups around the UK – see Check Your Area to find out what’s happening in your city, town, village.
Local MWR groups operate autonomously and encourage women to take part in the national demonstration as well as organising local events. Women from local MWR groups feed into meetings of the national Co-ordinating Group.
